Obituary of Alberta Sherburne

Alberta D. Sherburne, daughter of the late Frederick and Albertha (Bertha) Thompson and sister of the late Anna M. Corwin and George F. Thompson, passed away on July 28, 2022 at home.

She enjoyed traveling to over fifteen different countries, traveled around our country, and saw the many wonders we have.

She loved to embroider, knit, crochet, and hook rugs which her mother had taught her.
Meeting her late husband, Frederick B. Sherburne, they were able to enjoy thirty-seven years together.

Her niece, Holly A. Corwin came to live with Aunt Bertha and has been a good companion.
Bertha had a job waiting for her after graduation from Freehold High School at the former First National Bank, Freehold.

Burial will be at the Old Tennent Cemetery, Tennent on Wednesday, August 3, 2022 at 1:00 p.m. The Higgins Memorial Home, Freehold is in charge of arrangements.
